Suriya is easily one of the most sought-after actors in Kollywood. His performances in a variety of characters has alerted the industry to his talent and it’s no wonder every top director is vying to cast Suriya in his movie. Suriya’s latest offering Aadhavan may have received mixed reviews from the public, but his charisma and Harris Jayaraj’s music have carried the movie forward. As of yesterday, the movie completed its 50th day in theatres across Tamil Nadu for reasonably good audiences.
Directed by K.S. Ravikumar and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, Aadhavan tells the story of a hitman who has never failed, who is finally given a target he is unable to kill. Besides Suriya and the music, two other high points of the movie are Vadivelu’s comedy and the camera work. Vadivelu helps relieve some of the monotony, while the camera captures some really beautiful locales that are picture-perfect. Will Aadhavan celebrate 75 days and then 100? We surre hope so!
